Our

Team

The team at Resort Management Sales have all been actively involved within the industry for many years and have specialist knowledge based on hands on experience.

Barry Davies has sold Management Rights for longer than anyone on the Sunshine Coast.

He has spent 22 years in the industry, but he began selling real estate way back in 1981 in the town of Knysna on South Africa’s beautiful Garden Route on South Africa’s Western Cape.

Barry, 66, has had a fascinating life, and once ran a contract diving operation in South Africa which involved the search for raw aquatic diamonds on the ocean floor.

He is a huge fan of all sports, but particularly rugby union, and he can often be found in a Noosa boxing gym before sun-up getting the heart pumping for the workday ahead.

After coming to Australia in 2000 with his wife and son, Barry bought Management Rights at a small 10-unit complex in Noosa. He then bought into a 175-unit complex on the Gold Coast.

Barry went from a very small Management Rights operator to a very big one quickly, and learned everything there is to know about the business operations while on the job.

He started selling Management Rights as well, and has never looked back.

In the last financial year he and Matt Campbell oversaw around $40 million in transactions and between them they have sold about 500 management rights businesses.
